DATANA successfully kicks off NATO DIANA project
First cluster event at the Brainport Eindhoven Accelerator
We are proud to share that BioSistemika, DATANA’s parent company, has become the first Slovenian company to join NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA). Out of more than 2,600 applicants, only 74 companies were selected for this reputable program, aimed at accelerating dual-use innovations.
As part of the 2025 cohort, we’ve joined the Brainport Eindhoven Accelerator, gaining access to top-tier resources, training, and a network of industry leaders across NATO’s 32 member nations. During the 4-day in-person kickoff event in Eindhoven, we engaged in activities such as strategic business model workshops and dual-use product-market fit training.
These sessions, combined with insights from defense and innovation experts, have laid a strong foundation for our work within DIANA.

Our participation reflects the growing recognition of DATANA’s DNA-based digital data storage technology as a transformative solution for critical defense and security challenges. The DIANA program will enable us to further refine and explore its dual-use applications, while fostering valuable connections with experts, investors, and industry stakeholders.
